Privacy Policy

Project SOPHIA respects the privacy of all participants and will commit to protect any personal information shared.

Personal information is the information which can be used to identify an individual, including (but not limited to), name, e-mail, postal address, degree, date of birth, gender, profession and personal interests.

Registration

The website of SOPHIA project will not automatically collect any personal information from its users who can freely navigate it without providing any kind of personal information, remaining anonymous when visiting the site.

Personal information which is voluntarily provided by the user when sending e-mails with suggestions or by filling site forms is for exclusive information of SOPHIA project and will not be disclosed to any third parties without prior explicit consent of the user. 

However, every data provided by the user (person or entity) will be used to keep him or her updated on new services, resources or other information considered to be relevant by SOPHIA project and of the user’s interest, including newsletters sending.

    
Sending messages to the site

The content of any communication or e-mail message will be considered non-confidential and free from use restrictions unless otherwise indicated. Any reference to information considered as personal is also excluded.

Project SOPHIA is deemed to be authorised to use all ideas, concepts, techniques and know-how contained in every communications with the site, freely and independently of the intended purpose. That includes the development and production of training and awareness raising contents on the basis of that information, except in the case of copyright.          


Right to Modify, Rectify and Delete Data

The holder of any personal data is guaranteed the right of access, rectification, modification or deletion of the data. To do so, the holder shall expressly show his or hers willingness by writing to the SOPHIA project e-mail address: sophia-dqem@dgrm.mam.gov.pt
